Im Jahre 1071 wurde Görlitz das erste Mal erwähnt. Handel und Handwerk bescherten der Stadt Reichtum und Wachstum.

Erkunden Sie einmalige Sehenswürdigkeiten wie z.B. die Peterskirche "St. Peter und Paul". Sie entstand im 15. Jahrhundert. Besonders sehens- und hörenswert ist die restaurierte Sonnenorgel, erbaut vom damals berühmten Italiener Casparini. Oder auch das „Heilige Grab“ - die Kopie der Grabkapelle Christi in Jerusalem, der "Flüsterbogen" am Untermarkt  - ein gotischer Torbogen aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und die "Muschelminna" - unser Zierbrunnen auf dem Postplatz.

Hike up our local mountain "Landeskrone", an extinct volcano, today a green destination with restaurant, Bismarck pillar and lookout point, for the most beautiful view over Görlitz.
